If I were to wrap up Paris Fashion Week in one word it would be nostalgic. Designers from all walks of life seemed to be taking a trip down memory lane and channeled it through their new pieces. Paris spring 2015 was all about transforming old memories into new creations. Did it work? Absolutely! And before you ask; fashion certainly isn't at a standstill. Without further or do, let's look at the top looks from Paris Fashion Week.
1. Flower Power
Now I know what you're thinking; floral for spring isn't very original. However, the mod retro daisies have not been seen for a long time. Plus the kind of ugly vintage wallpaper vibe was actually really pretty.A look from Valentino's SS15 show. |

2. Denim Heaven
I feel like you can never go wrong with denim, it's such a staple in anyone wardrobe. But I was surprised to see so much of it on the runway. As denim becomes the new black let's just hope that we don't have another Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears moment.

3. Scarf...Barf
For those of you who don't know much about me, the title was a joke. I have an addiction to scarfs so I was utterly thrilled to have seen them on the Parisian runway. However in Australia, women wearing scarfs are rare - especially thinly wrapped ones around the neck purely for decoration. However in Europe, scarfs are uniform. Very chic.
4. That (early) 70's Show
Suede, autumnal colors and pointy, open-neck collars ruled. Need I say more?

5. Sky High
High necklines were another major look this season. However this look was definitely the most unusual and unexpected which is best exemplified in Dior's show with very interesting dressing gowns. Shout out to the conservative girls (and guys) out there who are cheering.
