The Most Popular Models of Fashion Month

Between New York, London, Milan and Paris a humongous 400-something shows featured models from all over the globe. In a sea of beautiful faces, some stood out to designers more than others which led to some topping 60 shows in four weeks. Below are the top 5 (well 8 because there was a three way tie) models; which tracked. Take note of these faces because 2015 fashion month is only the beginning.

5. Maja Salamon (Tie)

Nationality: Polish
Number of shows walked: 51

 This stunning girl has gracing the runways of Rick Owen, Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen, Valentino and Givenchy. Not to mention the masses of editorials she has starred in. Maja is hot to go so keep an eye out on this one.

5. Harleth Kuusik (Tied)

Nationality: Estonian
Number of shows walked: 51

Kuusik is instantly recognizable with her trademark blue eyes, blonde hair and freckled skin. This season Kuusik has walked for the likes of; Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, Acne, Iris Van Herpen and Lanvin just to name a few. And to top it all off she stars solo in the black and white Edun campaign for fall 2014, and she scored coveted spots in ads for Proenza Schouler, Valentino and Coach this year as well.

5. Julia Bergshoeff (Tied)

Nationality: Dutch
Number of shows walked: 51

Bergshoeff was the sole face of Proenza Schouler's fall 2014 ad campaign, which is a pretty huge honor in itself. This season, she opened Alexander McQueen, closed Giambattista Valli and walked Chanel, Celine, Balenciaga, Versace and Calvin Klein and many more.

4. Lexi Boling

Nationality: American
Number of shows walked: 52

When Alexander Wang takes interest in you, you're doing something right. And Lexi Boiling certainly is.  She starred in the designer's resort 2014 lookbook for Balenciaga, and she's currently a face of the fall 2014 campaign for his eponymous line. As well as that, this season she has walked for; Prada, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler and Anna Sui.

3. Waleska Gorczevski

Nationality: Brazilian
Number of shows walked: 61

In just a year Waleska has achieved international runway domination. She was a Dior Couture exclusive for spring 2014, and has since made runway appearances at Emanuel Unagro, Maison Martin Margiela, Dolce & Gabbana, Vera Wang and Rag & Bone.

2. Alexandra Elizabeth Ljadov

Nationality: Estonian
Number of shows walked: 63

Ljadov debuted at Proenza Schouler's spring 2014 show. At just 17 years of age she has gone on to walk the runways of; Chanel Couture, Christian Dior Couture, Céline and Givenchy. This season, she held the honor of opening and closing Guillaume Henry's final show for Carven in Paris.

1. Maartje Verhoef

Nationality: Dutch
Number of shows walked: 66

Verhof has had an impressive fashion month this year, she's on top, clocking an impressive number of shows, four of which she opened. Verhoef also closed Hermès, the final show of Paris Fashion Week. If that's not worth celebrating, then I don't know what is.
